IB Diploma Scholarships at ISF in Hong Kong Academy 2023
The Independent Schools Foundation Academy offers ISF Academy IB Diploma Scholarships Programme to Hong Kong students.
The ISF Academy’s Board of Governors established her Scholarship Program to encourage our students to strive for excellence in their chosen passions, whether academics, the arts, sports, or other fields.
This scholarship programme provides fee remission ranging from 50% to 100% of the annual tuition fee, as well as an annual allowance to reimburse any Special Talent expenses such as training and competition fees.
Scholarships for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme are available (IB DP).
IB Diploma Scholarships at the ISF Academy
The program’s goal is to encourage and motivate our students to strive for academic excellence as well as balanced development.
The Independent Schools Foundation Academy is a bilingual private non-profit school in Hong Kong.
It is also an IBO World School, offering the Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Cyberport, Pokfulam, Hong Kong, is the location of the campus.
Level of Study
Scholarships for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme are available from the ISF Academy (IBDP).
Subject of Study
Scholarships are given to students who wish to study subjects offered by the university.
Award of a Scholarship
The ISF Academy IB Diploma Scholarships provide the following benefits to the recipient:
Fee remission of the annual tuition fee for the two-year IB DP in Grades 11 and 12; and Waiver of the Capital Contribution Scheme in Grades 11 and 12.
For Grade 10 students, up to five two-year IB DP Scholarships are available. Applicants in Grade 11 may also apply for a one-year IB DP Scholarship if there are any remaining.
This scholarship is available in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong residents are eligible to apply.
Certain conditions must be met in order to be eligible for the ISF Academy IB Diploma Scholarships in Hong Kong in 2023.
Students who have excelled academically over the last three years. (Please keep in mind that the most recent school reports are given more weight.) Non-ISF Academy students are in the top 5% of their current school’s academics.
ISF Academy students must have a Commitment to Learning grade of at least “4” in each subject and have received the following grades in the two years preceding their application:
In Grades 8 to 10, achieving ISF Summa Cum Laude (top 5% of their class) on their report / an average of at least “6.3” (out of “7”) in MYP and non-MYP subjects with no subject scoring less than a “4”;
At least 38 points out of a possible 42 points in Grade 11. (excluding Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay bonus points).
Students must maintain excellent academic standing/commitment to learning; contribute to the community; and serve as a role model for the student body to remain on the scholarship.
To keep their scholarship, students must:
Maintain an excellent academic standing / Commitment to Learning; Volunteer in the community; and serve as a role model for the student body.
Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee that you will receive a scholarship. The academic eligibility requirements, in particular, serve as a guide to the minimum expected requirements. The scholarship is awarded at the sole discretion of the school.
The award of the scholarship is contingent on the student’s re-registration and return in the following academic year.
Scholarship recipients who withdraw from ISF without providing adequate notice will be charged the full amount of fees in lieu of notice.
Admission Requirements for College
Applicants must have a previous degree to be considered for admission.

Only the following documents are required to complete an application for the ISF Academy IB Diploma Scholarships:

Two confidential referees’ names and contact information Please seek permission to use the referee’s name ahead of time. Please, however, do not include any written references. Referees will be contacted separately by the scholarship committee.
Copies of official transcripts / school report cards from the previous three years, both interim and final. The ISF Academy’s reports are not required to be submitted. (For example, only submit reports for the years the applicant did not attend The ISF Academy.)
Copies of any awards, performances, or exhibitions certificates, etc.
Three individual statements
Any additional information that the applicant believes will help his or her application
Forms must be submitted by the following deadline:
Applications for university scholarships must be submitted by December 14; applications for Grade 6–12 scholarships must be submitted by January 5. Transfer students who do not meet the January deadline should contact the Admissions Office.IB Diploma Scholarships at ISF in Hong Kong Academy 2023
