  2. Age Limit: For initial Master’s programs, the candidate’s age must not exceed 35 years on January 1 of the year of intake. For advanced Master’s programs, the age limit is 45 years.
  3. Professional Background: Preference is given to candidates working in higher education, government, or civil society, or those aiming for a career in these sectors. However, candidates from the private sector or recent graduates without work experience may also be considered if they demonstrate strong motivation and potential.
  4. Scholarship Applications: Each candidate can apply for only one ICP Connect scholarship per year.
  5. Previous Scholarships: Applicants must not have received a scholarship from the Belgian government for studying in Belgium previously, nor should they have enrolled in any Belgian higher education institution before January 1 of the year of intake.
