PhD students who have obtained unconditional admission to a German university receive €1,200 per month for up to three years.

imum of three semesters. Additionally, PhD scholars can apply for financial assistance for research stays abroad. Health care insurance, family allowance, and children’s allowance can be subsidized upon request.

Those living in countries with planned selection conferences can apply through the respective foreign offices or directly to the responsible KAS office.
