Eligibility Criteria:

EPFLglobaLeaders welcomes applications from students of all nationalities. To be eligible, applicants must hold a Master’s degree or its equivalent before signing the employment contract. They should also be categorized as Early Stage Researchers (ESRs), with no more than four years of full-time research experience and no prior doctoral degree at the time of signing the contract.

Additionally, applicants must adhere to the MSCA transnational mobility rules, which require them not to have resided or conducted their primary activities in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the three years before the application deadline.

However, certain exceptions are allowed to ensure equal opportunities for applicants with interrupted scientific careers, such as due to refugee status procedures, national service, maternity leave, or short stays like holidays.

While applications are currently closed, aspiring candidates can anticipate the application procedure to be integrated into EPFL Doctoral School’s selection process.
