The Faculty of Science at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, has established the Excellence Fellowship Program in partnership with various sponsors.
This prestigious scholarship aims to assist exceptional and motivated students in pursuing a Master of Science degree in any of the disciplines offered by the Faculty. The program is open to all students, including international applicants.
The Excellence Fellowship Program provides financial support ranging from CHF 10,000 to CHF 15,000 per year. Successful applicants will be awarded the scholarship for one year initially and have the possibility of extension for the regular duration of their chosen Master’s program (usually three or four semesters), subject to academic performance in the first semester of studies.
All students, regardless of their home university or country, who have completed or are currently pursuing a remarkable Bachelor’s degree and rank among the top performers in their academic year, are encouraged to apply for this program. Candidates must meet the admission requirements of the Master’s program they wish to pursue and must be selected based on their application for the Excellence Fellowship.
As of now, applications for the Excellence Fellowship Program are closed. To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must complete the enrollment procedure as specified on the Admissions office website. The application process typically begins in January, and eligible students will receive a personal link via email to access and fill out the application form. The application deadline for the 2023 academic year was 15th March 2023.
