  2. Pursuing full-time studies with 12 credit points per teaching period.
  3. Demonstrating good academic and professional standing.

Applicants will be evaluated based on the following selection criteria:

  1. Qualities of the applicant, including academic potential and commitment to social justice and equity (30%).
  2. Scientific quality of the proposed research project (40%).
  3. Relevance of the research project to the objectives of the Amuthan Medical Research Fund (10%).
  4. Feasibility of conducting and completing the research within the proposed time frame (10%).
  5. Potential to contribute to the development of public health, infectious diseases, or health services research in tropical regions (10%).
