Eligibility Criteria:

The scholarships are open to students from various countries, including Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and more. To be eligible, applicants must be students (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate) and not older than 28 at the start of the scholarship. Scholarship holders will have the opportunity to study at esteemed institutions such as the Free University of Berlin, Humboldt University of Berlin, Berlin School of Economics and Law, or the University of Potsdam.

Application Process:

The application process for the IES program consists of three stages:

  1. Online Application: Submit your application form between April 1 and June 30 for the summer semester. Successful applicants will proceed to the next stage.
  2. Tasks Phase: Shortlisted candidates will be given specific tasks, including a tutorial task via a YouTube channel.
  3. Interview Phase: The selected candidates will be invited for a Skype interview.

Required Documents:

For a successful application, you will need to provide a tabular curriculum vitae (CV) written in German or English, and university certificates (Transcript of Records) in the original language.

Scholarship Benefits:

The IES program offers three funding opportunities:

  1. Full Scholarship: This covers pocket money, health insurance costs, and all expenses related to accommodation, enrollment, liability insurance, educational trips, social meetings, and more.
  2. Partial Scholarship Plus: This covers pocket money and expenses related to accommodation, enrollment, liability insurance, educational trips, social meetings, and more.
  3. Partial Scholarship: This includes pocket money and covers expenses for enrollment, liability insurance, educational trips, social meetings, and more. However, accommodation costs for two months will need to be paid by the recipient.
