The University of Auckland is offering the prestigious Robertsons Prize in Insurance Law for the year 2023. To be eligible for the Robertsons Prize in Insurance Law, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in a full-time or part-time Bachelor of Laws or Bachelor of Laws Honours program.
- Obtained the highest overall mark in the course LAWCOMM 424 Insurance Law. If this specific course is not offered in a given year, the prize will be awarded to the student achieving the highest mark in either LAWCOMM 453 Aspects of Insurance Law or LAWHONS 734 Issues in Insurance Law.
- Demonstrated academic excellence with at least an A- grade.
The Robertsons Prize in Insurance Law carries a partial funding amount of NZD 1,500, which will be provided to the deserving recipient.
Applicants do not need to submit a separate application for this scholarship. The prize will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council based on the recommendation of the Dean of the Faculty of Law or their nominee. Candidates are automatically considered for the award if they meet the eligibility criteria and achieve the highest overall mark in the designated insurance law courses.
