All nationalities are eligible to apply for the QUT College Merit Scholarships. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Secondary school results will be taken into consideration.
  2. Possess an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 68 or higher.
  3. Hold an overseas qualification with the required academic result.

Application Process:

To apply for the undergraduate program and be automatically considered for the scholarship, applicants must submit their admission applications through the university’s online portal. Additionally, students are required to submit supporting documents, including academic transcripts, an expression of interest, CV, academic records, copy of their passport, and citizenship proof.

Language Requirements:

International students must demonstrate proficiency in English by providing scores from accepted English language proficiency tests, such as PTE (58), Cambridge English (176), IELTS (6.5), or TOEFL IBT (79).


Successful scholarship recipients will receive financial support towards their first-semester tuition fees for either the foundation program or the diploma program. Specifically, the scholarship covers $2,600 for the foundation program and $3,120 for the diploma program. Additionally, students may have the opportunity to attend the QUT College scholarship award ceremony and receive a certificate of recognition.
