  1. Applicant Profile: All interested students must create a new profile on the OASIS scholarship platform, which is the new system used for the 23-24 academic year.
  2. Scholarship Applications: Students must complete the required questions and submit all necessary documents to apply for the eligible scholarships.
  3. Post Acceptance: After finalists are selected, they will be required to submit additional documents for verification, including academic institution enrollment verification, an online scholarship agreement, a recent photo/headshot, a thank-you letter to the scholarship donor, and a signed AISES direct deposit form with accompanying bank information.

Required Documents: Applicants need to submit several documents, including their resume, transcripts, tribal citizenship/indigenous native verification, letters of recommendation, and five essays, each with a maximum of 300 words.

Benefits: AISES is committed to supporting its awardees each year. The scholarship program offers the following financial support:

  • $10,000 per academic year for graduate students (Masters and Doctoral students)
  • $5,000 per academic year for undergraduate students (College sophomores, juniors, and seniors)
  • $5,000 per academic year for Native Next Generation students (College freshmen)
