  1. Hold a foreign university degree equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from UNIL before the start of the Master’s program.
  2. Demonstrate outstanding academic performance and achievements during your previous studies.
  3. Possess at least a B2 level of proficiency in either French or English, depending on the language in which your chosen Master’s program is taught.
  4. Have not been previously registered at UNIL.
  5. Pay the required CHF 200.00 administration fee.

Note that certain Master’s programs, such as Medicine, Education, Law (except for specific specializations), and a few others, are not eligible for this scholarship.

Application Process: Applications for the UNIL Master’s Grants are usually open until November 1st for the following academic year. To apply, candidates must submit a completed application along with the necessary documents via postal mail to the university’s address. Please avoid applying for admission to the Master’s degree through the Admissions Department (SII) separately.

Benefits of the Scholarship: If selected for the UNIL Master’s Grant, you will be exempted from paying fixed registration fees for your courses throughout the Master’s program. However, a nominal CHF 80.00 fee per semester will still apply. The scholarship will cover your living expenses with a monthly stipend, allowing you to focus on your studies and make the most of your academic journey in Switzerland.
