To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be a non-Chinese citizen in good health.
  2. For doctoral programs, applicants must hold a master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
  3. For master’s programs, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
  4. For bachelor’s programs, applicants must be high school graduates under the age of 25.
  5. Demonstrate excellence in academic and extra-curricular activities and not hold any other scholarships provided by the Chinese government, institutes, or organizations.

  1. Check if Donghua University offers your desired academic program covered by SGS scholarships.
  2. Complete the SGS online application.
  3. Fill out DHU’s online application and upload the necessary documents.

Required Documents: Applicants must submit the following documents:

  1. Two recommendation letters from teachers or tutors.
  2. Foreigner Physical Examination Form and relevant check result pages.
  3. Passport and visa.
  4. Secondary high school diploma or equivalent transcripts.
  5. Language credentials (HSK certificate for Chinese-taught programs, IELTS or TOEFL scores for English-taught programs).
  6. Bank remittance receipt for the registration fee.
  7. Personal statement.
