The Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic oversees elementary, secondary, and higher education, educational facilities, lifelong learning, science, sports, and youth support in Slovakia. They are now inviting international students from various countries to apply for scholarships to study in Slovakia. The scholarship covers various degree levels and disciplines and provides financial support to successful candidates.
Eligibility:
Applicants from specific countries, including Belgium-French Community, Walloon region, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Republic of North Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, and Ukraine, are eligible to apply.
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must:
- Be enrolled in Bachelor, Master, or PhD programs or be researchers, teachers, or PhD students.
- Plan their study or research stays to occur before 15 September 2023 and not later than 30 August 2024.
- Comply with the specific requirements and deadlines specified in the application form and agreement.

- In the case of PhD students, university teachers, and researchers: list of own publications related to the research program of the stay
- Copy of PhD diploma or its equivalent

- Bachelor/Master level students: 400 € per month (from February 2022; instead of 280 €).
- PhD students: 734 € per month (from February 2022; instead of 330 €).
- University teachers or researchers (without a PhD or equivalent): 734 € per month (from February 2022; instead of 550 €).
- University teachers or researchers (with a PhD or equivalent): 1015 € per month (from February 2022; instead of 550 €).
