Moreover, applicants must hail from the countries specified in the program, which include Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.

It’s important to note that individuals who have lived in Sweden for two or more years or have a Swedish permanent residence permit are not eligible for this scholarship. Additionally, applicants who have previously received a scholarship from the Swedish Institute (SI) for studying or researching at a Swedish university will not be given priority in the selection process.

Scholarship Benefits:

The chosen candidates will receive a monthly scholarship amounting to SEK 18,000 (Swedish Krona). For the academic year 2014/2015, interested candidates had the opportunity to apply until the deadline of 2nd February 2014.
