The Vice-Chancellor’s Social Champion Scholarships are designed to support three outstanding students from Latin America, Southeast Asia, Africa, and South Asia, who lack the financial means to finance their international education.

Level/Field of Study: These scholarships are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees in any subject offered at the University of Canberra.

Scholarship Benefits: If selected, you will receive up to $50,000 per year to cover all tuition fees for the duration of your course. Additionally, the scholarship covers on-campus accommodation expenses and provides a yearly financial allowance of $10,000 AUD, along with other miscellaneous expenses in the first year of your studies.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be located offshore at the time of application.
  2. Have applied for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Canberra but have not yet commenced your studies.
  3. Satisfy the academic requirements of your chosen program with a minimum of 80% average (or equivalent).
  4. Hold an offer letter (including conditional or provisional offer) issued by the University of Canberra.
  5. Be applying for an Australian student visa (subclass 500).
  6. Be a new commencing student. Dependants are not eligible for this scholarship.
