English Language Proficiency: For postgraduate programs, an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 or equivalent TOEFL, PTE Academic, or Cambridge Academic English scores are generally required. For undergraduate qualifications, the minimum English language requirements are slightly lower.

Contribution to Home Country’s Development: Applicants are expected to contribute to their country’s social or economic development for at least two years after completing their studies in New Zealand.
