ARC Research Hub for Medicinal Agriculture Graduate Research Scholarships at La Trobe University 2023

1. Applicants must fulfill the entrance requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy program.
2. Candidates should have a keen interest in subjects related to medicinal agriculture or plant biology.
3. Students must be enrolled full-time and conducting their research at one of La Trobe University’s campuses.
4. Candidates should have completed a Master by Research or any other substantial research work, such as an honors research thesis or a lead authorship of a peer-reviewed publication, assessed at a La Trobe Masters by research standard of 75 or above.
5. Applicants should not be receiving another scholarship that exceeds 75 percent of the stipend rate for the same purpose.

Benefits of the Scholarship:

The selected candidates will receive a host of benefits to support their research journey:

1. A generous stipend of $33,500 per annum (2023 rate) for up to three and a half (3.5) years.
2. A tuition fee scholarship for up to four (4) years. Successful domestic applicants will be awarded an RTP Fees Offset scholarship, while successful international applicants will receive a La Trobe Full Fee Research Scholarship (LTUFFRS), unless they already have another tuition support scholarship.
3. Additional allowances such as a relocation allowance and publication/thesis allowance or RTP Allowance.
