Scholarship Amount and Details: Scholarships are highly competitive, so it’s crucial to apply early. All MSc Programs are eligible, but please note that achieving a 2:1 (65% or higher) in your undergraduate degree, with at least 60% in modules relevant to the MSc program, is a prerequisite. However, meeting this criterion does not guarantee admission; applicants need to score exceptionally high.
The ULMS Indian Subcontinent Excellence Scholarship offers a remarkable 50% waiver of the total fees, but it does not cover accommodation charges.
Eligibility: To be eligible for these scholarships, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold or be on track to obtain a high 2:1 (65% or higher) in your undergraduate degree, including at least 60% in modules relevant to the MSc program.
- Be a resident of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka.
- Be applying for any on-campus MSc program at the University of Liverpool.
- Possess relevant work experience (advantageous) and have previously studied at a highly ranked university.
Application Process:
Applicants who qualify for the program will automatically be considered for the scholarship. No separate scholarship application is required. However, at the time of admission into MSc programs at the University of Liverpool, you will need to provide the following documents:
- School or College transcripts/certificates
- University transcripts and certified translations if applicable
- Degree certificates
- Evidence of English Language proficiency
- Personal Statement
- Two references
Please note that some candidates might be required to undergo an interview to evaluate their suitability for the scholarship. Demonstrating a positive attitude and a strong grasp of the subject studied is advised during the interview process. Scanned copies of documents are accepted, but original documents must be presented during admission.
