- Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) in Delhi, Mumbai, Ropar, Roorkee, Kanpur, or Kharagpur.
- National Institutes of Technology (NIT) in India, in case eligible IIT candidates are not available.
- Must be a permanent resident of Canada.
- Preference will be given to candidates who identify as women, especially in cases where women are underrepresented in the respective field of study.
