Scholarship Opportunities:

The Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn is offering two scholarships for international students pursuing a PhD degree in Agricultural / Environmental Economics. The selected scholars will receive a generous monthly stipend of €3,000 to support their research and studies.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants from all around the world are welcome to apply.
  • The scholarship is specifically intended for post-doctoral researchers with foreign citizenship, who have been invited by a professor at the University of Bonn for a joint research project.
  • Applicants must have a long-term affiliation (research or teaching) with a university or research institute in regions related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Demonstrated expertise in an area of research from the thematic spectrum of the SDGs is essential.
