UAL/ISH International Postgraduate Scholarships
Are you a student from a developing country looking to pursue a full-time taught Master’s course at a prestigious university in the United Kingdom? If so, the UAL/ISH International Postgraduate Scholarship might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!
Hosted by the University of the Arts London (UAL), this scholarship program offers full scholarships to students from low-income economy countries. Up to four lucky recipients will receive a £50,000 award, covering tuition fees, accommodation at one of UAL’s halls of residence, and even contributing towards living costs.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet several criteria. Firstly, you need to have received an offer to study a full-time taught Master’s course at one of UAL’s six Colleges starting in the academic year of 2022/23.
The course must provide either a Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MRes, or MSc qualification. If you already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification or an equivalent level qualification from studies in the UK or abroad, unfortunately, you won’t be eligible to apply.
Secondly, applicants must be ordinarily residents in one of the low-income economy countries listed on UAL’s official website. Additionally, asylum seekers in the UK can also apply for the scholarship.
The third criterion relates to the annual household income, which should be £50,000 or less (or its equivalent exchange value in a qualifying country’s currency) at the time of the scholarship application.
To apply for this scholarship, you will need to provide a personal statement addressing specific questions related to your aspirations and plans for the future. These questions include describing how the scholarship would make a difference in your life, how you intend to use the qualification you will gain to support your future plans, how you plan to address challenges in your home country, and how you would uphold the values of social justice and environmental stewardship.
The application deadline for September/October 2022 entry is 13 June 2022, while for January 2023 entry, it is 2 November 2022. Make sure to visit the official scholarship website for more information, application forms, and detailed instructions on how to apply.
While applications for the scholarship are currently closed, it’s never too early to start preparing for the next round. If you’re aspiring to pursue a Master’s degree and fulfill the eligibility criteria, keep an eye out for the application forms and apply as soon as possible to increase your chances of securing this life-changing opportunity.
Don’t miss the chance to take your academic journey to new heights with the UAL/ISH International Postgraduate Scholarship. Remember, education is a powerful tool for transforming lives and building a brighter future, and this scholarship is here to help make that dream a reality for deserving students from developing countries. Good luck!
